Classes
Six kinds of class
Every class lists its size and who it is for on the schedule.

Fundamentals
Stance, guard, the basic punches, kicks and knees, and how to wrap your hands. The class to start in, and the one to return to.

Pads and clinch
Combinations on the pads with a coach, then the clinch at a slow pace with a partner. For people with a few classes behind them.

MMA basics
Striking, takedown defense and grappling on the mat, taught in small steps with a partner.

Conditioning
A workout built from bag rounds, pad rounds and body-weight work. Early, midday and late.

Sparring by level
Technical sparring at light contact in gloves and shin guards, with a coach choosing partners.

Teens
Muay Thai for ages 13 to 17 on weekday afternoons. Light contact only, and a trainer on the floor the whole class.
Gear
What to bring, and what we lend
Your first classes need very little.
Come in a t-shirt and shorts. We lend gloves and shin guards while you try a few classes, and the front desk sells hand wraps and gear when you decide to buy. A coach will tell you which size and which kind.
In this order
Hand wraps first
Then gloves
Then shin guards
